Always learn to keep on moving

Let’s go back to kiosk businesses which I had employed a boy and a lady who were all brought by my sister. The business was good running well but I had little time with them . My most time I spent on college and town business. The time I stopped working in mwandoki Enterprise I strongly dedicated myself to the kiosks and immediately after the final exam I launched a small bar joint now by the help of first loan from equity bank.

They offered me kshs. 20,000 loan which I fully used it to repair the premise which I rented and  stock the business. Other facilities for the bar I had my home bench, table and five plastic chairs which I decided to use. Now I had four businesses to monitor daily to ensure they are running smoothly and stock availability.  The only business I was getting salary was the Mwandoki Enterprise before introducing Vision stores. Sometimes I ended up using my salary to fix the kiosks and bar joint.

It happened one evening I came from market with kiosk stock which I had purchased. It was two sacks of mwea rice and three small sacks of assorted cereals.  The boy received the goods then closed the door. I got surprised, I requested him to open the door because I wanted to know how has been business and which products I should bring next , then know the available cash in hand. The boy responded directly by saying, “told not to allow you inside the shop .” by your in law. I just said what?

I was taught discipline, I really thank my mother for that. I knew patience could be better. I took my bicycle and slowly moved away. That was my last day in sheddys groceries.  Remember the founder was my Past on brother, handled a bit by my past on sister before I took full responsibility without salary and ended up thrown out like thrash when business was booming without a penny in the pocket.

I explained the situation to my mother but she did nothing. ……..
