The meeting on healthy programmes, we at privilege to have several nurses with us. This is how one of the nurses began, we are able to appreciate life when we are healthy. But what is healthy? The world health organization defines health as a complete state of physical, social and mental well being and not merely the absence of diseases or infirmity. It is the enjoyment of the highest attainable standard of health. But you could enjoy all these and still remain medically unhealthy. All the members were shocked 😲😲
The nurse continued, it is estimated that only about five percent of HIV infected people are a ware of their condition. The other 95% are not aware that they are biological factories manufacturing death in it’s copious quantities. WHO estimates that by the year 2000 the number of Aids sufferers worldwide will have risen to six million.
