Where was your college attachment?

This is information about attachment was overlooked during narration of college life studies, thanks for my subscriber noticing this. In deed it a development part in life.

I had my attachment in Serena beach hotels Mombasa branch. These attachment was a big history which you will learn you continue reading.

It was the second semester where we were given the attachment letters by the dean of students. The letters was a proof that you are undergoing studies in the institution but no specific organization to go . Today’s learners should thank the institution for providing letters and organisation.

I present the letter to my mother, who decided to go a head and inform his brother wife who had children in different organization outside Voi county. Taking note I had my first sister in Nairobi with his husband, second sister in Machakos with his husband and third been a teacher in Mwatate sub county with her husband. Other sisters and brother had no job that time but I had my sixth sister who was teaching ECD nursery school in Mombasa. But mother choose his brother wife to be correct choice.

She doesn’t disappoint my mother , she took the papers and the following week she had presented them to her daughter Dorothy. Dorothy was that time working in Serena hotel in Management level so luck got me to be among the Serena staff training student. I received my appointment letter and presented them to the school administration to be aware that already in an organization doing the attachment. Attachment training officer of the college was Mr Nzioka really appreciated the efforts and issued me realize letter for the attachment.

Note that this is hotel where I was be doing my attachment so I needed somewhere to sleep and attend the job. Here again my mother had to visit his brother wife so that her daughter could accommodate me for the entire period of the attachment. Luckily there was a house she had in Mombasa in kisauni . So I got someone for sleeping while going to the attachment.

First day to travel from home to Mombasa for attachment. I was to be accommodated by Dorothy then next be taken to Mshomoroni where I was to stay. It was on a weekend so Hotel management doesn’t go for duty I was lucky to find Dorothy in home at Makande Municipal building’s.

I was received well and treated well before I was shifted to Mshomoroni where I was given a room immediately after the sitting room. Then I was briefed about the family I will be there with and most important was how I will be going for the attachment job . I was to used two different routes matatu , one from Mshomoroni to lights stage then lights to serene road at shanzu. Transport was cheap compared to know but it was expensive at that time. I was using kshs 120 per day for transport.

I hope you remember my sixth sister was in Mombasa . That day is when I realized she was in Mshomoroni nearby rental houses.

My first day to the attachment was tricky due all activities to per take were new . From home to the hotel things went well . I was received very well by the Serena hotel HR Management. I met Mr. Macharia who took very well my orientation training to the hotel . I was immediately attached to the procurement officer Mr. Onyango. He was to coordinate my movement to all departments untill I complete my training.

I was given first responsibility to assist Mr. Alfred in the Control and issuing department.
