I was to find out for myself an institution for learning in the city and without knowing the financer. I woke up early in the morning so that I could get to the city to begin researching. The main reason of waking up early was to get a ride from my in law while going to job. He had a personal van which him and my sister used to go with . The breakfast was ready prepared by the house girl, I hurriedly took the breakfast to avoid being the delay.

While I was sitting waiting for them to be ready, my sister asked, what’s your plan today? I said slowly I wanted to accompany you to the city where I will be doing my research for the institution for learning. She said slowly in a manner all the words came out clearly and I understood.City is a busy area, you have to be knowing exert place you’re heading, secondly do you have bus fare to and fro . She finished by saying why not begin with here surrounding institution and know the courses offered? I told her right sister I will begin with the institutions nearby but remember I don’t know any Iam new to the area. I said that to avoid more talks and delay for them to job. I took a deep breath then I moved towards the bedroom.

I heard her calling the maid to open the gate. I relaxed in the room until midday when I decided to go out and have a survey us a man . It was a small town so you can easily read the billboard know the various institutions around. I needed business institution so I got two colleges took the catalogue to show my sister and get the advice.

I showed my sister the catalogues and she proposed I should go to kenya polytechnic to do more research but I didn’t know the reason behind it.I didn’t know where it was.

The second day of going for research I delayed waking up early in the morning to give them peace of mind. I thought it was wise to work out alone to ensure the house is in peace. I heard my little savings. I prepared myself went to the bus stop I had learnt of it yesterday to go to kenya polytechnic. Immediately I got inside the bus I told the conductor drop Kenya poly then I took my sit.

I was dropped at a place where I couldn’t know to go right or left but luckily I saw a bill board and sign board, Loh! learning reading is got in life daily activities. I moved swiftly towards the gate . Security guard was there but I monitored he has no issues with those going inside or coming out. So I went inside, the first building was written Library. To remove the panic mode I went inside to the library and moved around reading the books. A man came across me, greetings then we introduced to each other. It was a game changer. I was directed to the customer services where I acquired the school requirements for admission. I was so happy us my day ended well.Remember the business I left and there was no communication that time.

I learnt so much alone for short time in the city and I could go to town with easy. It was one evening while watching the news my sister narrated, I have talked with mum about your studies she will let you know tomorrow prepare yourself you will be travelling to your sister in Machakos.

Here comes trip to Machakos first time……….
